SWOCC Symposium 2020
The SWOCC Symposium will take place on November 5, and this year you can join online. On this afternoon, among other things, a completely revised SWOCC Model Book will be launched.
In 2020, what are the best models and methods in the field of marketing, brands and communication? "Brand models: the SWOCC Selection" is an updated version of the SWOCC Models Book and an online database of brand models that can help answer brand management issues.
Patrick De Pelsmacker, Professor of Marketing at the University of Antwerp, will be one of the guest speakers. Dorkas Koenen, marketer at the RABO-Bank, will elaborate on the use of models within a marketing department. Selma Brom, winner of the SWOCC Thesis Prize 2020 and Margot Bouwman, jury member of the SWOCC Thesis Prize, will give a presentation. Selma researched the effects of meaningful narrative advertisements for her master's thesis at Radboud University in Nijmegen.
SWOCC is affiliated with the Communication Science department of the University of Amsterdam. Kim Cramer, co-founder of BR-ND People, worked as scientific researcher at SWOCC. After her research into advertising strategy, she did a PhD research on the determinants and effects of brand portfolio management.
Normally, the SWOCC Symposium is only open to SWOCC-sponsors, but on the occasion of the 25th anniversary, all interested parties are welcome to this online event, including friends, acquaintances and loved ones of BR-ND People and 23plusone Friends.
You can easily register via SWOCC.
