Oncomid brand identity creation to enhance collaboration
Services provided by BR-ND People: Strategy (purpose, mission, vision, proposition, positioning, portfolio); Expression (naming, design); Culture (team sessions, internal and external communication strategy)
Background
In the Netherlands, many hospitals - part of Oncomid - are specialized in the treatment of cancer. On the initiative of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, the formation of regional specialized oncology networks is stimulated. In the Central Netherlands region, this lateral cooperation consists of St. Antonius Hospital, Diakonessenhuis, Meander Medisch Centrum, Ziekenhuis Rivierenland, Tergooi and UMC Utrecht. There is also collaboration with Ziekenhuis Gelderse Vallei and the Beatrix Hospital.
Challenges
For the development of this new collaboration, BR-ND People provided creation of:
Brand story of Oncomid
Brand architecture and portfolio strategy
Parent brand name and naming of the various tumor working groups (Expert teams)
Logo and conceptual design (guidelines for website, brochures, etc.)
Brand communication strategy
Resulting in Oncomid
Together with the patients, medical staff and communication staff of the hospitals involved, Oncomid was developed as an entirely new brand which was launched on October 7, 2020.
Oncomid goes for the very best care in cancer. Oncomid does this by continuously improving and innovating knowledge, treatments and processes. As an ambitious medical network, Oncomid participates at the highest level. They conduct joint scientific research and publish the results with each other. They share knowledge in the Netherlands and internationally and invite others to join Oncomid.
